Google finally updated some of its satellite images of Gaza and my god, it's horrific. The entirety of Rafah has been demolished. The majority of Khan Younis is in ruins. Entire towns completely leveled and erased of the map.

The youngest person his pager attack killed was 9-year-old Fatima Abdullah, who had just started 4th grade. The pager was on a table when it went off and she picked it up to take to her dad. It exploded in her face and reports said it covered the room in her blood. She wanted to learn English.

I can’t remember if it was Commonwealth Stadium or Rupp Arena (or both), but I remember the bathroom had a big long open trough in the middle of the room and everyone was just standing around peeing into it and this was horrifying to me when I was a child.
