Just finished “the Long-Lived King” and I enjoyed it very much. I really like the art and story got me a little misty eyed here and there. I like the more mature tone without going over the top. It’s a very character driven story that deals with something we all deal with. So I do recommend it.

They do try to give Black Star a little bit of pathos, like Naruto, but it’s too late, and too little. Naruto does such a good job of making you empathize with and understand the titular character. Like you GET why Naruto is such a little shithead, you feel bad for him, and root for him.
