*COYOTE vs. ACME SPOILERS* It's interesting to me that what got everyone else was "Are you coming back?" when the bit that broke me was right before with "Have you been witness to his pain and suffering?" Just the idea that somebody saw, and was willing to say so... to be witnessed... that hit.

This should be zero surprise to anyone who’s actually been paying attention. He was already on the “fuck you” list in regards to generative AI, right next to Natasha Lyonne, and (to a slightly lesser extent) Demi Moore.

I just heard a sobering fact. There are more rapists in Cornell's student body than there are trans athletes in the country.

I've been pulling Owl House clips for this weekend's video and I just cannot get over how much Belos' expression screams "Family Guy" in this shot.

An image from The Owl House, with Belos glancing over at Hunter and having a facial expression extremely reminiscent of Family Guy.

You know I really think we need to update the old "if everyone else you know jumped off a cliff, would you do it too?" saying to something a little more relevant to our lives. "If everyone else you know pushed people off a cliff, would you do it too?" Or indeed standby and just watch it happen?

I've got so many people on my block list on here and it grows every day. If I ever get questioned about why I just have to assume the person either posted AI uncritically or did something transphobic. I figure that'll cover about 98% of the blocks.

It’s astounding to me anyone thinks this is a gotcha in my comment section.

A YouTube comment reading “this person makes adult content videos, Vera Wylde.”

Correct, fandom has *always* had massive assholes in it. The difference is before social media you could just avoid the places they were (the comic book store, certain online forums), because now they shout on the same platforms everyone is one and it becomes harder to just avoid them outright.

An unsurprising but depressing thing for me is to wander back to some of my old crossdressing stomping grounds and seeing them absolutely drowning in AI as dressers chronically create images of "themselves" looking "more passable" or in more glamorous locations than they feel they can achieve.

Being stuck in a corn maze for over 3 hours really makes you realize just how creepy looking the bottom of corn stalks are.

The bottom of some corn stalks with visible tendrils extending out into the ground.

Sometimes when you finally ban somebody from your comments you ask yourself "why did I put up with you for so long?" It's unusual for me since I ban on the first line crossing. But patterns matter, and if somebody comes right up to the line for like 5 years, just treat it like crossing the line.

You know, I’m realizing that liminal spaces don’t unsettle me like they seem to other people. One of my favorite things about working at a movie theater in high school was walking home after midnight on completely empty and quiet roads. Just me. Peaceful. Serene. I like it.
