There are VERY real dangers emanating from the LLM field. None of them involve creating a superintelligent AI. Not unless these companies abandon their current path and go in an entirely different direction. We SHOULD be extremely hostile toward LLMs. They ARE dangerous. Just not in this way.

This actually is the root of a lot of my anger and frustration, and yes, grief.
