This is more evidence of a new political reality: a lot of decision-making is the result of 3rd party institutional agents doing the work for big corporations. If we let them, they'll sidestep the public part of the process under the guise of "what they don't know won't hurt them".

Thanks. I don't trust AI as much as I trust my own ability to read & think through articles. My buddy runs a network of sensors around gas plants that are used to detect fugitive emissions. He said AI runs everything, troubleshoots basic faults, & sends him the high priority problems. Very cool.

"Free Speeches On The Beaches" appeared in the April 2023 issue of MAD Magazine. The parody of Dr. Seuss' The Sneetches discussed Musk decision to sell blue check marks and called him out for turning Twitter into a cesspool of bigotry. The illustrations are by Marc Palm.

This is a single panel from a one-page parody of The Apprentice called "The Oligarch." The full version can be seen in the MAD Magazine issue #43.

Jason Kenney welcomed hateful bigots to form the UCP. His minions immediately began purging progressive conservatives from the party, but an awful lot of former PCs said nothing and let it happen. Now the hateful are the majority of the party, and here we are.

Which is weird because the "God" we like to argue about is almost completely constructed out of our own projections, hence the contradictions. I'm agnostic, but maybe there's a deeper, more godlike god around somewhere.
