A number of firsts for me ‘n Mr Uptown recently: flew Porter airlines to our nation’s capital, saw the parliament buildings & a few other cool things, took a train to Montreal, visited Old Town, downtown & the underground city. We walked approx 25 kms/day in each City. Need a rest, nice to be home.

A friend’s niece lives on a street with lots of kids. The kids use red or green dots on their doors signaling their availability to play. When the mom got diagnosed with cancer, they sat both kids down to explain. 6 year-old looked at his mom & said “we’re going to need another dot colour.” ❤️

My WWII veteran pop had a heart & dagger tattoo that I remember vividly. My first tattoo (24 years ago) was in remembrance of him. Tattoo fairy visited after our spring camino and I set off to find an artist. First person I asked recommended her friend Connie at… Heart & Dagger Tattoo. Oooo.
