The smaller but no less impressive stone circle at Stanton Drew, Somerset. Part of a ritual complex dating to 4,500 years ago, the main circle is the third largest in Britain and would contained a forest of huge wooden posts in concentric rings #StandingStoneSunday

My Google pics found this when I asked it to search my photo library for a #StandingStoneSunday contribution. Taken in 2011 it's the Runstenskullen or The Rune Stone Hill in Lund, Sweden. This is a collection of C10th rune stones from Skåne.
