Bremmer appears to be deliberately conflating an initial choice to *provide* foreign aid with the sudden cessation of aid to already precarious populations — the *withdrawal* of an existing aid stream that was maintaining life. Those two are obviously different scenarios with different culpability!

I'm asking for advice from a void but...a labor union has a grant awarded public community charging station. After using the charger I was told they are canceling the service and changing to paid charging. Seems like committing fraud for their EVs. I'm honestly very tempted to email rage bait news.

It would be useful if the NYT explicitly stated that the pilot, if captured, would be a POW, that there are laws governing how POWs can be treated, that respect for international law on war shapes how the enemy approaches it, and this is why the US conduct of this illegal war has been so dangerous.

Cops were frequently getting caught planting drugs in 2017 because body cameras were new and many of them didn't understand how the technology worked. When cops hit "record" it saved the 30 seconds from *before* they hit the button. Eventually, they figured it out.
