Ah, but consider the Austrian Märzen, which is supposed to be light, as I discovered after a recent Hirter Märzen purchase!

The Funny Pages exhibition is a celebration of cartooning. It’s the largest collection of cartoonists and featured art spanning over 100 years of works from those with ties to Indiana. This is one of the biggest projects I have worked on.

I was going over some of the trends/eras of illustration with my students today and Corporate Memphis created the most conversation. It was compared to a business man in a happy face mask, Arial & pop music. Good in contexts like brightening up a train station, bad in masking the cruelness of tech.

ooh, I like this take - all the elements are present, so call it what it is: not liminal (which was never quite right, tbh), but gothic for a new generation of people who don’t remember why we built that shit in the first place, or what it was supposed to be *for*

Holy COW. Text analysis of comments on the OMB rule: overwhelming opposition, overwhelmingly not form letters. (But 9 in 10 comments supporting the rule ARE form responses, LOL) Whatever happens next, folks have stepped up.
Screenshot text: Between May 29 and July 9, roughly 51,000 comments were posted to regulations.gov (and over 200,000 more had been received but not yet published). The verdict on public sentiment is clear and lopsided: about 94 percent oppose the proposed rule and only 6 percent support it, with fewer than one percent marked as unclear. The opposition is overwhelmingly grassroots rather than orchestrated. Form letters make up only about 16 percent of all comments (roughly 8,400 comments across 210 distinct campaigns), and only about one in eight opposing comments came from a form-letter campaign. Support for the rule, by contrast, was almost entirely organized: nearly nine in ten supportive comments (about 2,500) came from a single form-letter campaign. Opponents mostly wrote their own comments; supporters mostly signed the same form-letter.

I assume some variation on the "claw grip", which shifts fingers to dedicated controls, ie thumbs stay on thumb sticks and forefinger does dpad and middle finger does bumper, ring trigger. Popularized with dark souls to allow more control.

Sorry, bit of misunderstanding! I was just suggesting plain vs plane in word choice. Honestly hadn't considered no highlighting - guess it could be interesting, but feels like an entirely different experience - kinda hard more for something like this.

I like the underline and contrast option, but just contrast is also nice. Not a fan of no contrast - just too bright alongside rest of color scheme. (Also, I'm guessing 'plain' works better, albeit with limited context!)
