Sue Kirk @suekirk.bsky.social · 16hI believe MOST of the support was from people who did not understand what was happening and, more terrifyingly, what was about to happen. I was genuinely worried about what we were 24 hours away from and felt people had their head in the sand 060
Sue Kirk @suekirk.bsky.social · 16hspeaking to my hairdresser at the time who thought the protest was great. I said, in about 2 days, no one will be able to access fuel & you will have no clients or staff. How long can this (very new) business survive if it has to shut down? He immediately changed his mind. He then got quite worried 210
Sue Kirk @suekirk.bsky.social · 17hI am not saying it did not have any support but the fuel protests were not 'very popular'. But, it seems so insulting to the people striking today to have any association with the 'fuel protest' 2271

I mean, I know they won't but at least they will have run out of excuses. 030
Sue Kirk @suekirk.bsky.social · 09/10/2026A friend was in a bar in town this week and ordered a round of drinks. In the taxi home he looked at the receipt to see a 20% tip had been automatically added. For four drinks he had to queue up for himself. Has this happened to anyone else? Is this not f*cking insane? 010
