Amazon doesn't do controlled, because mail and stuff. I'm going to try having my Dr send it to a hospital pharmacy. And if that doesn't work maybe the CVS mail one... They could send it to their store for pickup lol; if they have it, which I can't know, because nothing talks to each other.

But there was definitely a period a few years ago where it was annoying to get for months at a time! It makes it really depressing to then pay for a monthly Dr appointment only for the Rx they prescribed not to be filled, but you're still stuck with the copay. Oh and the Rx expire...

Another pharmacy just told me over the phone 1. They can't tell me if they have it - because it's controlled - and 2. They aren't "taking on new patients for controlled" because of the shortage and whatever they get in is already spoken for. Wtaf is someone supposed to do in this situation?

It's actually affecting my life now. You're not supposed to ration this, and ironically it's the medicine that helps me start dealing with daunting bureaucratic drudgery like finding a new pharmacy, find out if they have the meds, and call the doctor to have them move it. 😩

A CVS pharmacy I switched to in like May hasn't had my ADHD medicine in stock for four months. They filled one of two meds the first time I had it sent to them. Since then it's "Trucks coming on Friday maybe," for the whole thing. "Sorry we don't have and haven't had it. Maybe Tuesday." And so on.

I'm also in the back of my mind thinking these music streaming services are likely going to or already monetizing these recommendations somehow. And that's not really how I'm interested in trying to find new music. It can replace finding something tolerable for mom in the car I guess - i.e. radio.

My problem with this is that I think all of these services will somehow monetize the recommendations; and that's not how I want stuff recommended. Not necessarily the case with AI, but like when the music streaming service starts auto playing after a playlist I find myself gritting my teeth.
