If people don't want to pay tax to make this country function and help out the rest of society and particularly those who need help most... then maybe they should move to Dubai and stop bleating about it. Really sick to death of it.

I see a lot of people complaining about the undoubtedly stressful conditions at present on London's roads. But I see few people complaining about motor vehicles. Yet in the last 24 hours three vulnerable road users have died after being hit by people driving motor vehicles.

Terrible policy when domestic transport is the biggest contributor to greenhouse gases in the UK. We need to be going all-in on helping people AWAY from reliance on fossil fuels, not subsidising their use even more than we already do.

Quite the car blind response from the politicians in that article. They have noticed that vehicles are getting larger, and come to the conclusion they will need to be driven on the pavement. No awareness of the actual solution, which is using smaller vehicles. Failing that, lots of bollards.

It's not a surprise this is catching on. Beyond the environmental/society level benefits, solar is a great personal financial gain. You start saving real cash the moment it's turned on. I have solar but no battery and my electric bill for the year to date, including standing charge, is -£2.60.

This looks like an interesting challenge. I'm currently on 95. A ride of 96km and 97km should see me jump to 109, then I'm only missing 110, 114, 121 and 128 before 135km. I need to stop thinking about how many of the 16 rides at 100.x km were rounded up from 96 with a little loop round the houses!
