How amazing is autumn?! Not many leaves this colour yet, but when you see them it's a real treat 🍂 #autumncolours #autumn #Berkhamsted
Autumn oak leaves, backlit, with some ferns and tall pines blurred in the background. The leaves are green at the base and get more red at the tips.

These dogs didn't just use the doggy door, they taught the puppy how. Patient step by step lessons from the big dogs turned the pup's fear of the swinging door into confidence in no time.

The contrast between the utterly sycophantic coverage this week of Kemi Badenoch, whose party has a truly atrocious electoral record under her leadership, and the utterly dismissive coverage of the Greens, tells you everything you need to know about media bias in the UK

I've not seen many red kites this year, but one came by last week. Wonderful range of colours.
A red kite with wings lifted. Its body is reddish-brown with black patterns. Its head is silver-grey with a yellow beak and eye. The undersides of its wings are brown, black, grey, and white.

This is clearly a good result for Labour, but it also doesn't strike me as a terrible result for the Greens. Vote share held up from the local elections in a constituency that was never really a target for them

A fascinating editorial decision from the BBC, to make the headline a scaremongering “AUTISM AND ADHD ARE BEING OVERDIAGNOSED”, and then, four bullet points later, have the author of the report quoted as essentially saying “nah, that’s bullshit, actually”.
ADHD and autism at risk of over-diagnosis, says report, as author warns of rise in mental ill health
Summary
• An official review in England finds there is a risk of people being over-diagnosed with
ADHD and autism - three key findings from the report
• As well as neurodevelopmental conditions, the review looks at mental ill health, particularly in younger people. Our health correspondent explains the difference
• It was commissioned earlier this year after Wes Streeting, then the health secretary, said there was an "over-diagnosis" of mental health conditions
• Speaking to Radio 4's Today programme earlier, review chair Prof Peter Fonagy said Streeting was "with respect, completely wrong"
