This is absurd. The US just lifted sanctions to import diesel from a country that: (1) bans its own diesel exports, (2) is rationing fuel domestically, (3) is bombing #Ukraine energy infrastructure. This is subsidizing Putin's war chest for fuel he can't even reliably deliver. Who does this serve?

Jumping on the bandwagon of other EU far right parties, AfD abandons its foundational anti-EU stance and develops a plan to change it from within. Truth be said, apart from somewhat weakening the existing EU bureaucracy their aims are hardly incompatible with the existing conditions.

Our large-scale study of phone bans just came out in Science. We randomized phone-free classrooms for 16,000+ students across 10 institutions in Odisha, India. Students deposited phones in a box at the start of each class, for a full semester.

Explanation: Government jobs account for the highest shares of employment in north-eastern states, with around one in four workers in Mizoram, Nagaland and Sikkim in government jobs. Shares are much lower in several large northern and central states: 3% in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, and 4% in Madhya Pradesh. Tamil Nadu has a higher share, at 12%.

I want to put out my thoughts about the upcoming Spanish election. Here is my current projection (based on polls) of how the election would turn out, if it was held today. The overall picture is that the right-wing (PP, Vox, UPN) currently has a clear majority of seats (203).

En af tankerne med økonomiske integration er også en økonomisk konvergering (og helst at de landene på et lavere økonomisk niveau, fx målt på bnp, købekraft eller lønniveau mm. løfter sig til niveau). Men der er stadig store forskelle på EU-lande. Og det kan betyde modstand mod ny udvidelse 👇
