Up until very recently indeed, airlines were the only businesses that I dealt with regularly that practiced "price discrimination," charging different customers different prices for the same seats.

I believe in healthcare for all. Why? I have some pretty bad health conditions (seizures, migraines, low bone density), and if it weren't for my veteran status, I'd be completely S.O.L. I'm sure there are folx worse off than me that don't have that privilege. Healthcare for all.

Everyone should be fighting for Universal Healthcare and disability rights. Health is fragile. You can become disabled or chronically ill in an instant. It’s not a moral failing. It can wipe out your savings and leave you destitute. Healthcare is a basic human right.

I'm looking at prepping for the winter, because Maine, and I need oil for heating. I looked at the cost a few mins ago.... $5.79 a gallon! To get a full tank, which we usually go through 1.5 - 2 tanks a winter, costs about $870. We usually spend maybe $450 a tank... This is fucking ridiculous.

Covid is a mass disabling event. Just because you had it and were “fine” doesn’t mean there isn’t silent damage in your body. Multiple infections increase the risk of long covid … you never know which one could leave you disabled. This is why we mask. Why we clean the air.
