This year, the Sox were coming off 3 seasons in a row of more than 100 losses. They broke the loss record in 2024, with 121. They hadn’t won a playoff series since they won the whole fucking thing in 2005. ⚾️ AND THEY FUCKING DID IT! On to the ALDS, we go! 🥂

Much of our sitting government is in office because it ignored rape or committed rape. At times, it seems like a job requirement. Much of our media has learned to ask evidentiary standards of survivors that they’d never hold a powerful man to.

Greatest trick AI leaders have pulled is convincing many people—especially influential people in govt, media, and business—that their software is intelligent, independent, yet never culpable. Humans build it, humans deploy it, but no one bears responsibility for the things that happen when they do.
