John Yoo tortured hundreds, Pike only tortured one girl.

There is truly no comparison between the blood on Yoo's hand and that of Pike's. Yoo has participated in far more brutal atrocities and it's not even close. The fact that he's on TV and she's been in a cage is not an accident of the US legal system — it's the point

Renee Good's family filed two lawsuits today. The first, against, USG, is a standard wrongful death. The second is a Klan Act lawsuit against Jonathan Ross, AND STEPHEN MILLER and Greg Bovino. It names Nick Shirley and Christopher Rufo as non-party co-conspirators for their racist propaganda.
44. At all relevant times, Defendants Ross, Miller, Noem, Lyons, Homan,
Bovino, and the John Doe Federal Agents acted under color of federal law and within the
scope of a joint enterprise with the private actors described below. Defendant
Lewandowski acted in part under color of federal law and in part, as alleged below, as a
private person, his federal status having been limited to a temporary part-time designation
that his conduct exceeded. Shirley, Rufo, and Ben Bergquam, and the other non-party
private actors described below, agreed to and in fact participated in the conspiracy alleged
here: each acted in concert with, and with the knowledge and encouragement of, federal
officials.

If you need any more evidence that: 1. Twitter is the hitler site 2. You, as a socialist, should not be on the hitler site 3. Social media in general, here included, cultivates a lot of people, you included, into emotive reactionaries and should not ultimately be where you shape your ideas.

Two-panel cartoon meme showing Teefa, an anthropomorphic tan canine woman with long auburn hair wearing a blue uniform, driving a bus. The first panel reads, “DON’T MAKE ME TAP THE SIGN.”

The second panel is a close-up of Teefa’s claw-tipped finger tapping a large white sign.

The sign reads: “Being abusive to strangers on Bluesky is not praxis.”

I can't help noticing that the pundit class spent all of 2024 claiming that Democrats shouldn't only campaign on culture war (they weren't) and should talk about economic issues (they did) but now that economic issues are bad for Repubs, they're always asking Democrats about Piker and trans kids.

Ranked choice voting is our ONLY way out of the 2 party system trap. Until we get to that we have to vote strategically, as a coalition. We must have power to change elections before we can break the first past the post system.

I think the word ‘Hate’ has long been doing the heavy lifting covering up for ‘White Supremacy’. It’s so easy for anyone to say they’re against ‘Hate’. MAGA even says that. But ask them to denounce white supremacy and see what happens. Leftshits too they dont ‘Hate’ so they cant be yt supremacists

The only time this site acknowledges we are at currently at war under Trump The Peace President is to claim that Kamala Harris would have done the same thing and to attack Democrats for sabotaging the Peace President's attempts to stop this war that someone else started, probably Chuck Schumer.

Holocaust Harris doing a girlboss with Liz Cheney was the subject of more prolonged outrage from the Anti-War People than Trump the Peace President leading us into war with Iran. Saying this will get you yelled at and gaslit about how our moral betters have shown total consistency on this issue.

This is nowhere NEAR the level of fear we need to invoke in them. This is bullshit. These people are not terrified. They are not thinking about their own lack of a future, they are just worried about losing the majority and a governor's mansion. INSUFFICIENT.

There is no way to implement the death penalty that doesn’t result in cruel and inhuman punishment. Beyond this, there is no human court so infallible that, even if a “better” version could be implemented, they would never err in condemning a person to death. It is sheer hubris to claim otherwise.

It's not partisan to only go after Republicans when only Republicans did the crime. They betrayed their country for a demented violent narcissist. All they have left is to pretend it's not fair. They're complaining that he didn't investigate people who didn't commit crimes that day.

That's what these hearings are for. You ask questions, you get answers. Smith has perjured himself before, but... maybe he's a Caitlin Clark fan. We'll accept that.x.com/Acyn/status/21...

That we would live to see another Republican administration sending people to black sites for torture, should not surprise any of us because we didn't punish the Republicans who did this the first time. We are not making the same mistake. There must be consequences or there can be no change.
