Also I just want to comment out loud that for anyone who needs to paint a lot of fodder who hates doing eyes: just put some dark wash of your choice in the eye sockets and make sure it pools up under the visor of their headgear. Eyes are for personality figures, not 200 faceless mooks lol.

Finally finished Le Guin's Malafrena. It was quite long read over this first half of the year, sometimes painfully dry, other times my own social life was following after the book's turns and twists that I hated reading it. At least there was a big rush in the end so I can end with a 3.5/5 opinion

Belated review of Le Guin's Tehanu: A differently paced, more sedentary but still weighty good book about vulnerability, coming down from a high of heroism. Sparrow Ged's a supporting character, but still important and the bigger thing is Tenar's (un)dignified settling down and roles she navigates
