Been really struggling with this character for the Indiana Jones style project. Trying to go for an Egyptian woman archaeologist from the time. But with a bit of an adventurer flair. So not slavishly period specific, but only deviating slightly. Very tough to design well.

Wikipedia has been doing some really awesome social media posts. They've been hiring artists & animators to talk about random Wikipedia articles or explain how it works. They could have just hired influencers, or made text posts. But this feels much more wholesome, more grassroots. I love it

I want to develop my sketch style more. I really love these texturely, pencil-like sketches I see from artists like JAW Cooper, Jens Claessens, Even Amundsen. I can just never seem to get the kind of texture, or vibe right that I'd love to hit.

I really like that they're going the neon colour route. I've thought Metroid could be more stylized and colourful for a long time.

Do I want the new Zelda remake? Not really. Am I going to get it anyway? Probably. Because at some point I might and Nintendo games just never go down in price (Unless they're partnered with Ubisoft, and then they're like €3 after 6 weeks)

I really love Godot. I spent ages following tutorials for node programming in Unreal, and whilst I got some basics I always felt like I wasn't capable of moving past tutorials Now I've actually been learning scripting in Godot and I'm already moving on to making my own unique systems and its great

Here's PM (at the time) Theresa May standing next to joke candidates at her election declaration in 2017 A shame Nigel Farage is too much of a vain, thin-skinned, little coward to do the same & attend the results of a by-election HE CALLED to avoid an ethics investigation into his dodgy dealings.

Started doing French on Duolingo because I was bored and realising MAYBE I would have enjoyed learning French in school if my school didn't focus so much on things like the rote memorization of genders of objects like pencils.

Bellingham one goal away from getting the highest England goals scored during a World Cup. Gives it to his teammate Saka to allow him a hat trick. Bellingham gets highest goal record as the last kick of the game anyway. This is the sportsmanship and kind of role models my soul yearns for 🙏 legend

I really miss the UK. I feel like it's usually a deluge of depressing politics and racism. But the World Cup & the supporters, the multiculturalism, everything has been the most positive vision I've had of my home country in a long, long, long time.

The death of Sony as a console company will not come from a lack of physical discs (something that feels pretty inevitable in this current market), but because they started selling their *exclusive* IP on PC Marketplaces, removing the entire function of their console for short-term profitability.
