Absolutely! I've listened to probably 90% of all the episodes, and really liked Lewis. But that, and this, are making it really hard. Even Jon sounded surprised he supported the death penalty.

Germans vote (neo-)Nazi in 2026 and, just as in the 1930s, we all know exactly which British papers, politicians, presenters & pundits will be absolutely loving it… Spoiler alert: they also love Trump.

Reform say they'll force school children to sing hymns. Only 5% of Britons go to church. So what we have here is a religious minority forcing their wishes on the majority, and refusing to integrate with Britain's culture. They should go and live somewhere else. According to Reform.

How the jobs figures pan out. Net zero: massive new employment. Return to fossil fuels: mass unemployment. Don't ever let these grifters persuade you they have your interests at heart. They dance to the tune of their funders. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

A question for Nigel Farage – why is your nationalist party so obsessed with destroying British jobs? | George Monbiot
Claims that our prosperity depends on oil and gas are bunkum – unless you’re a Reform backer with fossil fuel interests, of course, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

If only he had done something about the media (leveson 2?), perhaps he'd still have a job. On that note, would you sponsor this bsky.app/profile/refo... Politicians cannot knowingly mislead parliament, but can say anything to the public.

It’s been five years since Alex Jones lost InfoWars to the Sandy Hook families. As the verdict came down, he asked: “Do these people actually believe they’re getting any money?” He hasn't paid them a penny. Well, The Onion is going pay them anyway. The new InfoWars begins July 2nd at 8 p.m. ET.

The Onion says it won’t wait for the courts, will launch Infowars to pay Sandy Hook families
The Onion’s staff is tired of waiting for the courts to settle its pending takeover of Alex Jones’ brand, so the new Infowars will launch next month.

Also wealth flight is a bit bullshit. Most won't leave - family, etc tie them here. And even if they do, we could still choose to tax them overseas (as the US does to it's citizens)

Beggars belief that Met Police is in talks with #Palantir about giving them access to highly sensitive data, when there’s already such concern over its links with ICE & Israeli military. Palantir already has UK contracts worth over £500m, incl. with NHS. We should be scrapping them not signing more

I don't know why this is so hard for some people to grasp. If we extend our use of fossil gas, rather than going all-out for grid batteries, heat pumps and induction hobs, we extend our dependence on *foreign* sources of gas, regardless of whether we also use the UK's last remaining reserves. 🧵
