Having spent a few too many years of my life studying vitamin A supplementation and infections/survival, I can confirm that vitamin A is not a panacea. The MMR vaccine remains the most safe and effective way to avoid getting the measles.

Tens of millions of Americans rely on Medicaid (and most uninsured people are eligible for it) but even if you don't use Medicaid, cutting its budget means that entire hospitals, clinics, and other medical practices and facilities will shut down. Literally everyone's healthcare access will be worse.
