While this is true and I love it. I'm not looking forward to when the bubble pops and liberals who were all-in on the AI hype claim that only the super intelligence stuff was bad, they were always against it, and 'regular', 'responsibly used' LLMs are still good and vital.

I wanna be totally clear: I don't even necessarily believe that we should assume Anthropic's LLM "plagiarized" the work of a biologist because his data was in a training set. I think it's very possible that *people at anthropic deliberately engaged in plagiarism to produce an apparent result.*

Google finally updated some of its satellite images of Gaza and my god, it's horrific. The entirety of Rafah has been demolished. The majority of Khan Younis is in ruins. Entire towns completely leveled and erased of the map.

i get why AI is so depressing to me. because covid already shrunk my world to almost nothing, where almost all of my life revolves around socializing and watching videos on the internet (which is being ruined by AI) and creating creative works through coding (which is being ruined by AI), often using open source tools and libraries (which are being ruined by AI)

i already had so little and now even that is being rotted away before my eyes
