Ariel Troster @arieltroster.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Last night I knocked on the door of a woman who was moving into an apartment after months of living in her car, homeless. She was setting up the place so her kid could be returned to her. We’re all one accident, layoff or crisis away from similar outcomes. What an honour to welcome her home. 472370276

As a person on the spectrum, the challenges are amplified. 150

tiffanybn.bsky.social @tiffanybn.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Heartwarming gesture, but the “we’re all one crisis away” line is a comforting oversimplification. Most people who hit a layoff or accident don’t end up living in cars for months, family, savings, skills, &basic decision-making usually prevent that. Chronic homelessness almost always involves deeper, 100

jlm @jlm617.bsky.social · 26/09/2026In America, a safe place to lay your head shouldn’t be a privilege reserved for the lucky. Home is the foundation of dignity, family, safety, and hope. No one should live one missed paycheck, illness, or crisis away from losing it all. Why aren’t we taking care of our brothers and sisters-Christians?☮️ 0132
jlm @jlm617.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Imagine a country where empathy wasn’t a slogan, but a way of life. Where we understood that any of us can stumble, and nobody is disposable. We’d replace judgment with compassion, isolation with community, and hardship with a helping hand. Wouldn’t it be nice? ☮️ 191
