Went to today's NASCAR race at Chicagoland Speedway. The race itself was as entertaining as we hoped. Everything else about today - parking snafus, no wi-fi (at a race sponsored by a router company, merch stands with no event-specific merch - sucked. NASCAR hates its fans.

Wife and I went to the Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago today, where there is a new exhibit about Anne Frank. It's very well done and worth your time. One thing that never fails to sicken me: The motherless Nazi fucks photographed and documented a lot of the evil they did. Motherless fucks.

The probe elicited objections from lawmakers and comments from President Donald Trump that suggest he's trying to distance himself from the matter. Nonetheless, Piro, a former Fox News host who was confirmed as the US Attorney for the District of Columbia five months ago, plans to forge ahead, said the person, who asked not to be identified publicly discussing the sensitive situation.

My town is having a Buy Nothing Black Friday event where you bring all the stuff you want to get rid of and other people get to shop it for free. And you get to shop other people's "I can't use this anymore" stuff, too. There's also a voter registration drive at the same time. Just brilliant.
