Biophilia is not... Nature. It might sound controversial, but an important distinction Nature exists without us. Biophilia only exists because we do. It's our relationship with the living world and how that relationship shapes our health, our learning, our communities and the places we create.

Biophilia isn’t an add-on to education, it’s a condition for learning. We’re exploring this through a 12-week series: 🌿 person 🌿 classroom 🌿 curriculum One question each week. See our substack or our website A different way of seeing what education could be. #SchoolOfBiophilia #BiophiliaInPractice

Why does biophilia matter for primary school children? Because regulation comes before learning. Because curiosity grows outdoors. Because connection builds care. Family guides in the School of Biophilia shop. #HalfTermWithNature #SchoolOfBiophilia #BiophilicFamilies #NatureConnectedKids

Higher education is meant to expand our understanding of life, yet most of it happens in spaces cut off from it. Research shows that students who study in nature-connected environments have higher wellbeing, stronger belonging, and better retention. @nature.org @chronicle.com @insidehighered.com
