We’re at the Youth Shadow Panel’s second roadshow! We’ve chatted about students’ views on education and now we’re getting their ideas for specific improvement (thanks to @aqaeducation.bsky.social for hosting)

A young woman sits in front of a Smart board reading “My education helps me to think about my local community, my country and the world through the different subjects I study”

A group of young people sit around a table, discussing solutions to issues in their education

A Smart board reads
“Discussion themes
How would you improve your education with respect to…
Theme 1: skills and relevance to life
Theme 2: assessments
Theme 3: practical learning
Theme 4: climate and sustainability
Theme 5: inclusivity & diversity
Theme 6: politics and democracy

If you don’t get chance to discuss some of the topics you’re interested in, send us your thoughts! https://tinyurl.com/2s3ahsss “

🏳️‍⚧️In the last year, @tgeuorg.bsky.social recorded 350 transgender people being murdered. 93% were Black or Brown trans people. ✊A just transition must safety and happiness for all trans people. Remember the dead, but fight like hell for the living. #TransgenderDayOfRemembrance #TDoR

A graphic reads "Transgender day of Remembrance. 350 trans people have been murdered in the last year*. Today we remember them, their lives, and who they were. Climate justice demands that the sustainable world we create, is a sustainable, safe world for trans people too. We are not safe until we are all safe"
Roses and candles in the pink, blue and of the transgender flag decorate the page
