Tip I learned from a retired librarian: Get more than one library card if your local library has reciprocal agreements with other systems! Put all your cards in Libby, and it'll point you to the library with the shortest hold time for ebooks and audiobooks.

It's been 1 year since I started walking (mostly) unassisted!! I still use a cane if I'm going anywhere crowded, but having two (!) mostly-cooperative (!) legs for 12 whole months has been really good so far. August also marks 1 year of some other events/milestones, but I'll save those for later.

If you have a hashtag with multiple words, write the hashtag in #PascalCase or #camelCase to help users of screen readers. That helps the screen reader to read out the words out individually, rather than trying to read them in one long word.

Chinese is my first language, so as a kid learning English I would say I was "closing the lights" when turning them off. Other kids at school always made fun of me for this. Only after leaving south central PA did I realize how wild that was from a group of folks who say "outen the lights."
