It's just very weird to me because here they hang up signs at the bus stops to indicate a change in route or stop timings due to construction or other detours. Very weird they would not announce it AT the stops.

Anyways that second picture is from a month ago and it's not a whole lot taller but the canopy is probably 3-4' wide as well as it being 4' tall. It's basically falling out of the pot. So I need to uh, find a place for that I guess. There's also a baby corm I might try to split off (the small plant)

amorphophallus konjac (voodoo lily) is the petite cousin of the corpse flower that you see at lots of conservatories and botanical gardens. It has a leafy phase and a blooming phase. I bought one for like $12 on a lark at the univ plant sale in May. And then it turned into a tree in < 3 weeks.

About 30 left to go including my big monstera and amorphophallus konjac. Thankfully not many of the remaining plants need repotting. Most of the plant stands have been washed and are inside. All of the anthurium and hoya are inside. 🫡

Today in unpronounceable hoya, i bought this a year or so ago from Hawaii Hoya Lady and it wasn’t doing well so I tossed it in a high humidity prop box and forgot about it. It finally sprouted a growth point and two nodes which I chopped yesterday. Hoya SS20-01 (desvouexensis x crassipetiolata)

uh like everything i ate in Europe was amazing - down to the soft serve ice cream that seemed richer than anything I'd ever had in the states. people just need to learn that you can enjoy different things while traveling and that's the point.

Pretty sure they have an instant dissolve tablet that is fast-acting. I know my sister had some while she was doing chemo (and she had terrible GI side effects)
