while I am just me, I want to be clear that as a Cis-woman, I fully support trans people using toilets of their affirmed gender. I think it is unsafe to ask trans women to use male loos, and I'd much rather trans men used male loos. Switching off replies, cos I don't want to hear the trans-hate.

Labour has rolled back protections for trans individuals. The Under Secretary of State for Equalities has just opened the door for vigilantism against trans individuals. UK has dropped in terms of LGBTQIA+ rights under this government. This performative politics doesn't match Labour's own policies.

Small stool/table looking wooden item with round top and bottom, and a hole in the centre of the top. Sixteen threads emerge from the hole and are arranged around the surface. They continue down to wind around wooden bobbins weighted with a screw through each. The counterweight in the centre to which they are all attached is a crocheted small bag, subdue which are washers for weight. The sixteen dangling bobbins are going to be very appealing to the cats….

Well yes I do have many WIPs, but have you considered that the cats who are staying with us don’t have a whimsical embroidered portal to the fascinating space behind the sofa?

In progress embroidery stretched on a tapestry frame, there is a hole in the centre through which ch you can see a black cat. Thee design is from the Lord of the Rings- Thebgates of the Mines of Miriam. Durian, Duran? Someone’s gate anyway. The design is from the book but the design lavish text at the top reads ‘purr puss and proceed’
