I'm gobsmacked by ministers' failure to defend Burnham's claim about Russian interference in Brexit (and Tories' claim that he has no proof of it) when there were well-documented troll farms, funded by Russia, spewing out aggressive pro-Brexit attacks on social media at the time

Wow. Donald Trump is giving money to Putin’s war machine so he can keep killing innocent Ukrainians and attacking democracies across Europe. The UK must lead a coalition of the willing that stands up and says no.

It's totally inexcusable. Why do people have children then not want to spend any time with them? A similar situation to rich parents who subcontract parenting to nannies and boarding school.

The Tories have had over two years to come up with a broad set of new policies and they've reverted to their same old mean spirited small minded ones they have had for decades. More austerity and the type of deregulation that led to Grenfell.

Liar. Small boat crossings peaked under Johnson in 2022 reaching 46,000 in 2022. In current year they are 18,565 and falling. Also prior to Boris Johnson's Brexit there were none.
It's a disaster, and it can all be traced to
Labour ideology. Burnham has no mandate
from the people. He has no real ideas, and
no plan,

One regular feature of an MP's Twitter feed was a photo, usually on a Friday, of a visit to a local Primary school. Does a photo of Farage surrounded by schoolchildren exist? Has he ever visited a school in Clacton?

What is so puzzling about the BBC newsroom's very clear editorial decision to apply no serious scrutiny to Reform's policies is that as soon as Reform take power they will dismantle the BBC newsroom. There is absolutely no benefit in pursuing this credulous bias.

This is absolute rookie stuff. There is just absolutely no way that a headline like this should ever make the BBC News website. It being the weekend is no excuse, either: political news *always* drops on Saturday night, for the Sunday papers.

BBC’s coverage of Reform’s welfare plans is frankly bizarre. Headlines in Ten, leading on some radio networks. Reform are not even the official opposition and the plans have less credibility than Count Binface. Will BBC News do the same for Lib Dem and Greens policy two years out from an election?

Farage in The Telegraph: ‘If voters think I’m a crook, they can get rid of me.’ It’s not how the law works but, even so, I’m assuming if Farage is serious he’ll allow the voters of Clacton to look at all his finances, speak to all his donors, and put himself up for rigorous questioning?
Front page headline in Telegraph : Farage quoted as saying ‘If voters think I’m a crook they can get rid of me.

In the 1960's, when the USA led the world w/ blue-chip companies in every field, the average CEO-to-worker pay ratio for major corps was 20-to-1. Now, CEO's are paid about 300 times as much as the typical worker. Those CEO's don't work any harder nor are they more deserving.
