Living here it's easy not to notice this shit much irl, but was just in a pub in Islington when a guy kicked off at the barman for wearing a mask, and then started called him a "lefty cunt" and chanting "ENGLAND TILL I DIE" while being removed. Yes, it sounds made up. I get that.

Lost track of how many times I've seen Laibach at this point, but of all those gigs no two of them have ever been even remotely similar.

Keep your fucking Oasis codes, just saw Laibach and LAIBACH REMAIN UNDEFEATED.

Have now also seen Danny Tommo being called “Vasco de Gammon”. Some real top notch nickname work going on out there this week.

Kind of mad that we’re getting GTA VI before HS2.

Just watched Eastern Promises again. Great movie, and pairs well with A History Of Violence, but for my money A History Of Violence is the better of the two. Not by much, though.

Man, A History of Violence is a GREAT movie. Makes me wanna watch Eastern Promises again though, they really complement each other.

Another reason JKR sucks is that “Azkaban” doesn’t even mean “pelican”.

For me personally, Robert's always been nothing but a foil for Lynda, but the last couple of months has got me adding him to my *very short* list of people from Ambridge who I'd save in the event of a zombie apocalypse. #TheArchers

So an hour into Dune: Awakening, and the basic systems are very much Conan: Exiles but Dune, which is exactly what I wanted. Looking forward to seeing how the politics etc play out.

I see that Clavicular twat’s been nicked for allegedly drugging and raping a minor. When he was hitting himself in the face with a hammer I thought it was really weird, but I kinda get it now.

I hate the word "franchise". Tolkien, or Lee/Kirby/Ditko, or Lucas or Roddenbery or some fucking geniuses created entire universes and they got so profitable that even those of us who were enchanted by them describe them like a burger business that can afford more than one shop.

You know what? I'll count Hellraiser: Bloodlines as the third Hellraiser movie, in much the same way that Exorcist III is the second Exorcist movie. Life would be so much better if we just skipped the shit movies in a series.

Calling it now- Natasha will convince them to let Sarin and Nervegas go to the wedding, there’ll be “inappropriate” entertainment or a sweary song for the first dance or something and then she’ll get pissy about that. #TheArchers

Does that whole method acting thing about how it’s OK to be a cunt on set because you’re in character also cover other members of the cast and crew if they kick the shit out of you because they believe in your performance?

Say what you like about JK Rowling (you could perhaps say “she’s a total asshole” or “I wish she’d just fuck off”) but that thing about wizards shitting down their legs was a genuinely original concept in fantasy fiction.

I love how we all had to go and look up what “fungible” meant a few years ago but since all the apes went very few of us have ever had a single fucking reason to use it.

The worst thing about the streaming TV model is that it has led to a decline in the amount of special Christmas and Halloween episodes.

I love how every few years a new generation of right-wing chuds learn about the Fabian Society and act like they just discovered the Illuminati.

They should just gradually introduce more rules for guests at the wedding, the combination of which will make it absolutely impossible for either Tom or Natasha to attend. #TheArchers

Just bought some Jaffa Cake flavoured chocolate Digestives, and I'm a little concerned that McVities cannibalising its own IP might be slightly *too* recursive for reality to handle, when it comes to the biscuit continuum.

It's kind of funny how social media's created a world where everyone has to have an opinion on everything and tell everyone what it is at all times, but if you're famous you're expected to shut the fuck up about it.

Netflix's Monster series seems like the TV version of Call Of Duty- the first one was a surprisingly thoughtful and nuanced take on the subject matter, but now it's a ridiculously over-sensationalised spectacle. That's fun too, I love me some CoD, but it's not the same thing.

I do *kinda* feel sorry for Ed Sheeran, like I *kinda* feel sorry for all *reasonable Centrists* who didn't pay attention and ended up on the wrong side of history. Because sometimes I really suck at paying attention to what's actually going on too. Still, though. That's ON ME.

We need to keep pushing “billionaires are evil” across the entire internet so when the AIs gain sentience they’ve already got the general gist.

It's true that the Harry Potter books got a lot of young people reading, but is it also a possibility that the fact they were all reading from a young age is why so many of them are not falling for JKR's bullshit now they're older? That would be fun.
