Since the 15th Street Protected Bike Lane was installed: • Crashes ⬇️ 46% • Bike injuries ⬇️ 91% Removing the PBL between Constitution Ave and the Tidal Basin would increase conflicts between pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles at one of the busiest times of year.

Was good seeing so many people come out for this year's Ride For Your Life/ @safestreetsdc.bsky.social walk on the World Day of Remembrance. Very different event, but like yesterday's @ward5familybiking.bsky.social ride, a wonderful sense of community. And huge thanks to @waba.org, as always!

Please sign a petition supporting an increase in Washington D.C.'s minimum auto insurance requirements: waba.org/action-page/raise-dc-insurance-minimums/ . Many crash victims are unable to cover the high cost of medical care and recovery. An update is a common-sense step.
