I stand by my idea to build a VRE/MARC platform along the tracks just west of the Anacostia RR bridge until some rail nerd explains to me why it won’t work. Run trains during stadium events. Walk is shorter than Morgan Ave to FedEx field.

I save a TON of money by getting tickets for shows at the box office at Atlas, 930, etc. For big $$$ shows, buying online can add a $50 "convenience" fee. It's wild, though, that the amount of employee effort and salary it takes to staff a box office booth gets you a cheaper product! Capitalism!

I love it when elementary schools have alliterative mascots! The Tubman Toads. The Wheatley Whales. This is why Center City charter messed up big time when they changed the name of their school in Trinidad to be the “NoMa” campus. Aside from the geographic crime, the NoMa Tigers just doesn’t work!
