Everyone is talking about Revolver! I love Revolver! The first substantial thing I ever wrote was a short eBook about the album back in 2006. More on that here, including a link to a PDF of the book itself. precastreinforced.co.uk/2026/04/26/3...

I like doing podcasts quite a bit, even if it takes me days to recover. Ross and I had a great chat about a really interesting book, getting into things like whether enigmatic endings in weird fiction are brilliant or annoying, and whether Richard Willoughby is a dickhead.

Why do our second-tier cities underperform? Why do we have fewer trams in the UK? I try my best to give an answer to these two interconnected questions. chriscurtismk.substack.com/p/to-grow-th...

To grow the economy we need more trams, and fewer kebabs
Britain’s second-tier cities are being held back by a simple problem, too many people still cannot get across them quickly enough to reach the jobs, customers and opportunities that drive growth.

A poster for a short story called The Interchange. The background image is a slightly disturbingly organic schematic of a motorway junction. It's tinted pink and teal with a gradient. Text reads: The Interchange -- Thin Places in Hard Concrete, Spring 2026.

I see Nigel Farage is back to claiming he "predicted" the war between Russia and Ukraine in the EU Parliament, when in fact he spoke AFTER the annexation of Crimea, to defend Russia and claim it was all the EU's fault. I did a full fact-check, with clips, here: podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/f...

I've got two books of ghost stories and weird stories, each of which has a bunch of great reviews. They're available in paperback and as eBooks via Amazon: • Municipal Gothic www.amazon.co.uk/Municipal-Go... • Intervals of Darkness www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0DDR8X9QY
The covers of both books. One has a tower block against a dark sky. The other shows a figure walking through a dark space being stalked by another figure whose shadow we can see.
