Almost a fence. This is what passes for a hiking trail in some parts of Ireland. This used to be a trail but rarely used so its become overgrown. #Hiking #Photography #EastCoastKin #Nature #Ireland

Facing South with my back to the jagged crags of the Black Cuillin. Taken just after heavy rain the rounded and scored rocks of the valley floor glisten in the sun. To the left the waters of the loch reflect the blue of the sky, the loch extends out of the shot beyond the steep valley sides and eventually drains into the Atlantic

A bright yellow building stands out against the snow covered ground and the towering cliffs of the Troll Wall. Immediately in front of the building is an old railway goods wagon.
The building is the old rail station (it was moved a short way from it's original location in 2005 when work was done on the nearby highway and rail track) it is now used for accommodation and the carriage is a small museum.
