Worth mentioning today that the statutory duty for finding accommodation for those being released homeless from prison rests with local authorities, not Probation. The MOJ does separately fund Community Accommodation Services (CAS) but these are only temporary placements and will exclude many.

Even if Reform wanted to introduce this monstrous policy, they want to hand out £100bn of cuts to public services, so any plans they might have to monitor and enforce it will be impossible. Incoherent tools.

I commanded the SAS – our elites want to abolish hard men

Andy Burnham’s Cabinet picks will accelerate the feminisation and under-resourcing of UK defence The new Prime Minister has sent seriously worrying messages with his Cabinet picks to those of us who want the UK to be capable of dominating and winning any defence or security crisis.

The combination of Wes Streeting in the MoD, Chris Bryant as Northern Ireland Secretary, Ed Miliband as Foreign Secretary, Ellie Reeves as the Attorney General, and the obviously compliant Chief of the Defence Staff, will most probably lead to the continued feminisation and under-resourcing of UK defence. The lanyard class wants to see the purging of the old, messy, violent men who win wars, and to allow the new high-tech, human-rights-compliant, lower-cost substitutes to flourish
