Not to dunk on the event but is Chris Boardman really claiming that the Bee Network had a transformative impact on *active travel* across GM? So yeah, there's some nice bike lanes to the south west of the city centre but I'm stuck with piecemeal, backstreets routes here!

I see that cyclists are still not covering themselves in glory! If someone says "cyclists are dangerous" then yes, you can say that motorists are more dangerous. If someone has a bad experience because a cyclist ignored the highway code, how about you say "that was not cool" or just shut the F up?

As a cyclist (specifically, a cyclist in a city), this is also my wish. For cyclists and drivers. It feels like no-one gives a shit about the rules, and no-one with any power is going to stop you breaking them. This goes for any road user (tho' of course there are very few rules for pedestrians!)

I feel like my secondary school kinda swerved this. We had 1/2 GCSE religious studies but maybe once a term at most assembly? Fair play to my head teacher. Fairly sure we also learnt about gay relationship in the Section 28 era too. Like, he actually taught me to put a condom on a banana personally.
