Got a message from my dad asking if I’m ok, cause he just read the news that there was a car driving into crowds incident in Berlin, where I currently am. I had no idea it happened as I was at fanfest all day, and so far all of my friends are fine and accounted for, thankfully.

Neither, it’s finally cold again. And I don’t follow soccer. Just been waking up randomly. Probably stress.

I fear this won’t happen until all industries worldwide adopt policies to make people less disposable… This isn’t just a problem in game dev, it’s just one of the industries that has exacerbated the issue tenfold. Anything for profit, people are just numbers in a spreadsheet that bleed money...

Jeg er litt glad for at Infiniti Nikki sluttet å funke for meg i ukesvis og jeg ga opp, tenk om jeg hadde investert mer tid og penger i infold 💀

Rikke @rikkeobviously.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

It turned me the whole way off the game, but I guess it was easier cause I wasn’t that hardcore of a fan. It was cute while it lasted. Also happy now that infinity Nikki already turned me off by destroying their game(it literally wouldn’t run for me for weeks) and I gave up on it.

I feel so disrespected I uninstalled the game and I wasn't even that crazy about Valko (at least not yet) :)

Game failure? Layoffs Game success? Layoffs Game delayed? Layoffs Game delivered? Layoffs Game announced? Layoffs Game unannounced? Layoffs Game good? Layoffs Game bad? Layoffs Game AI? Layoffs Game no-AI? Layoffs Game hated? Layoffs Game beloved? Layoffs Money cares more for layoffs than games.

when I got laid off from Vice, I later found out that members of the c-suite had awarded themselves bonuses that were higher than my annual salary. I hope that answers your question.

Just finished Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, and this is one of the best shows I've seen in a minute. I love a mini series that has a satisfying end. More one season contained stories please and thank you.

the media is now telling people to work from home to save on gasoline, immediately after their years-long crusade to tell us why returning to office is best for everyone. this isn't a gotcha, it's an example of how contradicting demands allow the ruling class to blame us no matter what we do
