So a Sharon-splainer of what's happening in India: Basically, in India, election rolls are a lot more centralized than in the US. As a result, the national electoral commission has been engaging in heavy voter roll reviews (primarily in opposition-friendly states) called SIRS.

It's frankly why a moratorium on party youth wings and student politics for, say, five or ten years of experience in the real. Youth Parliaments and more 21-year-olds in politics aren't a bad idea, just keep them away from becoming President or Treasurer of the University party branch, say.

The grammatical 'colon' and the anatomical 'colon' are not etymologically related. The anatomical 'colon' comes from the Greek ‘kolon’ which means “large intestine.” The grammatical 'colon' comes from the Greek ‘kōlon’ which means “limb.” Both are a means to an end.

Acnestis [ak-NEES-tis] (n.) - The part of the back that cannot easily be reached to scratch. Used in a sentence: “Ever since our illicit dalliance in the back garden, my acnestis has been afflicted with a most infernal rash of Poison Oak, and Miss Drollup has ceased returning my correspondence.”
A "Grandiloquent Word of the Day" meme for “Acnestis,” defined as the part of the back between the shoulder blades that cannot easily be reached to scratch. The example sentence jokes about an illicit garden dalliance, a poison oak rash, and Miss Drollup ceasing correspondence. At right, an antique illustration shows two draped figures with dotted reference lines marking areas of the back.
