Patty and Selma live in the same nursing home as Abe Simpson, who has defied death like Mr. Burns. Mr. Burns is still alive and well, of course. Smithers still works for him, though he's getting too old to keep it up. Burns moved from nuclear to oil when Trump was first elected.

Today is the birthday of artist John Forte (Oct. 6, 1918-May 20, 1966). He drew for a variety of publishers in the Golden Age, such as Timely/Marvel & Fiction House, but is probably most remembered today for his work on the early years of the Legion of Super-Heroes.
