I’ve followed the Red Sox fairly closely each season for over 50 years. This year’s team has been the most maddening of all. They were terrible early, then were unbeatable for a stretch. At various times, they can’t hit at all and are unwatchable. And their two best hitters swing at everything. Ugh.

I highly recommend Ezra Klein’s interview with Jensen Huang. It’s frustrating and worrying. Jensen is a brilliant businessman and not the worst of the Silicon Valley CEO’s. Which makes this interview all the more troubling. He comes off as an arrogant salesman, who is in major denial.

NYT has now independently corroborated all the major allegations against Susan Collins in the ProPublica report, including that investigators were prepared to move against her and then Trump intervened to shut it down. This put Trump in a position of exceptional and extortionate leverage over her.

I still can’t get over the fact that a grand jury of American citizens charged Trump with several felonies relating to Jan. 6. It’s highly likely he’d have been found guilty and sentenced to decades in a federal penitentiary. But the Supreme Court bailed him out…somehow, we’ve memory-holed this.
