So right about the ending. I get why its not as well known when the TGTBATU ending is so cemented in pop culture but it’s still kind of mad to me that the Watch Chimes scene isn’t more iconic. It dramatically turns in a way the Ugly one doesn’t.

Jen is right: I love The Good, the Bad & the Ugly but to me For a Few Dollars More is the trilogy's Goldilocks. not too big, not too small. it has the best (anti)hero and one of the most inspired villains of all time. insanely fun chemistry between Van Cleef & Eastwood. and, a pitch-perfect ending.

Impossible to say anything about Empire Strikes Back that hasn’t already been said. A blockbuster masterpiece, with crazy refusal to rest on the laurels of A New Hope’s success, every department is firing on all cylinders. It feels so much richer.

I think another lesson to take from the loss of both Dolly and Tim Curry is that neither of them took themselves seriously but they took the work dead serious that's the most important thing pour all of yourself into the craft but have fun and don't get an ego.
