I had a student whose mother warned her about the serial sexual harassers in my former department...because they sexually harassed students when the mom was a student thirty years before. Not the same as SA, but very indicative of the pattern. Men are protected while women suffer.

Omigod, this is the most heartwarming story possible! Backpack (bear 89) is the son of the 2019 winner of Fat Bear Week, Holly (bear 435). In 2007, he injured his foot & a practice of riding on momma's Holly's back had a new meaning: he was mobility-restricted while it healed. So Holly moved him.

My half-brother tried to rape me when I was 16. I have family members still mad that I said something out loud about that in my 20s. A adult boss tried to grab my breasts when I was 14. In college, I had sex when I didn’t want to because that was the easiest way to get out of a situation.
