Very excited to have my midwest weird flash fiction story, "Lilting at Windmills" out with Hell Itself! "My childhood home is built from the skeleton of a windmill. Grandpa told me that windmills used to sing. Not with a human voice, but like a finger running around the rim of a glass."

We’re going to hear about how everyone loved Dolly, and that feels true. But it’s good to remember, and to her credit, that she was attacked for her AIDS activism, her vaccine advocacy, her LGBTQ+ support and even, more recently, for her reading initiatives. She ALWAYS stood firm when it mattered.
