managed to pop the achievement by actually doing it at my computer and being very careful and watching the achievement icon the whole time. feel like i did nothing different but whatever man we take those Ws (after like 5 hours training up a bunch of characters to execute The Play)

made the disastrous choice of idly trying to 100% the retroachievements for disgaea. the set is lovingly made and so it's got a bunch of weird challenges in it. i'm having trouble getting a 'must do on your first time through the game + requires grinding' achievement to trigger and i'm gonna die

i feel like we maybe fixed my pc by finally replacing the ram. so that Corsair ram i bought 2 years ago as an upgrade to the prebuilt shit itself so catastrophically - both sticks - that memtest couldn't complete but the pc still technically ran. until it mostly didn't
