@kccclaudia.bsky.social I know you know better than to appoint a career politician who stands to gain financially by influencing the location of a station to be CEO of a transit agency. So much talk about experts being in charge rather than politicians and you didn’t even vote no? Explain yourself.

Donald Trump and Dow Constantine are both equally qualified to run a transit agency. Why? Because a politician is NEVER the right person for the job of Transit Agency CEO.

I very much hope board members vote against this. He has simply failed to deliver effective oversight and leadership of our transit agency. Sound Transit needs major reforms and they have not been coming under Dow's leadership.

Wow Sound Transit’s revenue estimates for fare gates keep going down. First they thought they’d get $37M/yr, Then when drafting this pilot they thought they’d get $30M/yr, And now when approving the fare gates pilot they think they’re going to get $16M/yr. Fare gates are so useless. (1/2)
