All right folks, I've had my fun in the wake (pun intended) of Lindsay Graham's death. I'll see y'all again when they finally admit. Mitch McConnell, and on that happy day when that man is dead and gone and we'll be singing in the streets.

After a rules review it turns out that if the prediction is as much of a layup as this one was, it doesn't count as Apollo throwing the dodgeball of prophecy. But that also makes it *worse*, not better, that so many people still stood by him.

Having a cooking related post pickup steam on here just makes me all too aware of that: 1. There's a chunk of BlueSky that ain't never walked around the grocery outlet with their granny, begging her for one of those plastic barrels with blue drink in it 2. A lot of folks can't cook.

This is in response to someone finding out that you can buy chicken wings and cook them for cheaper than you can get them from a restaurant. The Treatlers really think cooking takes as much effort as building a house I guess.

Every other week, I see a viral post about "tipping" and visceral responses as to why it's not required and "it's not my job to pay you" regardless of the bill. And again I keep saying.. we're having the wrong conversation. You're punishing poor people to make an under educated point
A picture of a restaurant bill for $621.73 with a $9.00 tip, along with defenses as to why this is more than generous because they already paid the bill.

Southern Segregationists. Yes, FDR helped turn Black voters into democrats, but southern whites were also democrats. And FDR had to keep them happy in order to pass his legislation. So there were often compromises at the expense of disenfranchised Black people

It’s worth noting that when Jan. 6 happened, the pro-Trump right used dozens of conspiracy theories to try and offload blame from themselves—e.g., claiming it was “antifa,” “feds.” Now, they seem keen to just admit they did it—all of it—and it was good.

16. White majorities want the upsides, not the downsides. They want Republicans to make whiteness prosperous for them. They want Democrats to make whiteness stop backfiring on them. They want it both ways, though they have never had it both ways. Whiteness and prosperity are polar opposites.

10. This is not to say that Republican presidents are rewarded. Quite the opposite. The restoration of "the natural order" – in which the dominance of white people in America is preserved and protected – *requires* ruining the economy.
