On 9/11, I worked in the Dean of Students’ office at OU. Mid-afternoon, the head librarian at Athens Public Library called. She had a group who wanted to offer support to international students. A place to stay, escorts around town, a friendly local presence to sit on their front porch. Just in case

These agencies were likely input as the payee due to publishers pulling that info from the author’s agency clause. I suspect few agencies actually signed up for this. Happened to me too. I am telling authors to simply change the allocation and leave me out of it.
