I think a lot of white people approach racism with the idea that as long as they don't bust out a slur, they can't possibly be racist. This is wrong.

(And why exactly would someone want to fake being a person of color when that would only subject you to racism? The answer is simple: white people who think a POC would fake being so believe in the mythical “race card.” They think we can use it to get out of anything. They believe being non-white confers an unfair advantage that they, the white person, lack access to. There is no motive to this that is not racist.)

Julius Streicher, editor of Der Sturmer, would frequently published columns titled "Jewish Crimes" crimes committed by Jewish people was published. On October 16th, 1946 Streicher was executed by hanging for "crimes against humanity" for what later would be classified as "incitement to genocide."

When the Cass Review came out last year, the NYT rushed to cover it complete with post notifications. After reviews in Germany and Utah came out supporting gender affirming care for trans youth, dead silence. You can be just as biased in what you don't cover as what you do.
