Did a benchmark run today because my 5k on Saturday wasn't me going all out and I was curious where my training had gotten me to. Turns out I'm now the fastest I've been since 2023 when I was 1 year on HRT & about 10kg lighter 😅

Honestly it's kind of wild if you track something long enough the kinds of numbers you end up with. Since I've been tracking my bike rides since 2013 I can see I racked up 5,000km on my old bike and I'm up to 3,500km on my current bike. I have done over 1,000km of running 😅

Totally failed at keeping this an easy run so I just committed to doing it at tempo pace. Still I'll take 7:35/km for 7km. Happy I made it this season back to being able to run longer distances the whole time 😅

Added an interval and I've been doing my intervals at <6:00/km so overall pace is increasing. I was still faster in July for 1 or 2 runs but I'm approaching that pace but with a lot more control
